WHAT FUNDAMENTIA IS AND HOW WE DIFFER
We automate complex operational processes in large organizations using artificial intelligence. We do not deliver tools. We design, configure and deploy the complete automation of each process, from information intake to decision execution, tailored to each client’s business logic, systems and regulatory requirements.
A software provider gives you a tool; you configure it, integrate it, operate it and maintain it. Fundamentia delivers a fully operational automated process. Our technology is the engine, but what you buy is the operational outcome: a process that previously required intensive human intervention and now runs continuously, at scale and with full auditability.
We are all three within a single relationship. We combine the sector expertise of a consultancy, the proprietary technology of a software provider and the operational accountability of an outsourcing partner. What sets us apart is that we do not end the project at delivery: we stay in production.
We have spent more than ten years automating critical processes in real-world environments across banking, insurance, legal, real estate, healthcare and education. We do not work with prototypes or lab environments. Our experience is in production, with clients who cannot afford failure.
We operate primarily in Spain and Europe, with active projects across Latin America and English-speaking markets. Our solutions are designed to work across multiple European languages.

THE TYPES OF PROJECTS WE HANDLE
Operational processes that combine complex documents, business rules, multiple systems and decisions that previously required expert human judgment. Common examples include mortgage processing, claims management, contract review, legal due diligence, medical authorizations and academic admissions. If your process is critical, high-volume and difficult to scale, that is exactly where we work.
There is no minimum volume requirement, but the return is greatest when the process is frequent, document-intensive, involves decisions with replicable logic and its automation directly impacts operational costs, response times or risk. In an initial conversation, we can help you assess whether it makes sense with no commitment required.
Our specialization is in large organizations — corporations, financial institutions, insurers, hospitals and universities — where processes are more complex, volumes are higher and the impact of automation is more significant. That said, we evaluate every case individually.
Yes, and that is precisely where we create the most value. The hardest processes to automate are those that cut across organizational silos, integrate multiple systems and require coordination between internal and external stakeholders. That complexity is our natural environment.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK WITH FUNDAMENTIA
Everything starts with a conversation about the operational challenge. From there, we assess the process: understanding the workflows, systems, volumes and friction points. If there is a fit, we design the solution together and start with a controlled pilot before scaling into production. We do not ask for commitment before you have clarity on what you are going to achieve.
A typical project includes a four-to-eight-week configuration and specialization phase, followed by a pilot before moving into production. The exact timeline depends on the complexity of the process, the availability of training data and the integrations required. In no case is internal development required from the client.
No. We manage the full lifecycle: design, deployment, integration, go-live and ongoing maintenance. The client provides process knowledge and access to systems; we handle everything else.
That is built into the design from the start. Our engagement model includes ongoing maintenance and adaptation to regulatory, documentary and business changes. We do not deliver a box and disappear: the automation evolves with your organization.
Before we begin, we define the operational KPIs together: processing times, automation rates, error reduction and cost per transaction. Monitoring is continuous and transparent throughout the entire lifecycle of the project.

INTEGRATION AND TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE
No. Our philosophy is integration, not replacement. We connect to the systems you already use — ERP, CRM, document management platforms and core systems — without requiring changes to your architecture. The automation integrates into existing workflows rather than replacing them.
Through standard REST APIs and connectors for major enterprise platforms (including SAP, Salesforce and Appian, among others). The integration is designed during the implementation phase to align precisely with each client’s workflows.
We apply configurable confidence thresholds. Cases that do not meet them are automatically routed to human review, fully integrated into the client’s workflow without interruption. The system never makes blind decisions: human oversight is part of the design, not an exception.
We use a hybrid approach that combines sector- and language-specialized large language models (LLMs) with symbolic AI and deterministic business logic. This combination delivers the contextual understanding of LLMs together with the precision, traceability and auditability required in regulated environments.

05
SECURITY, PRIVACY AND REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
All projects are designed from the outset around the principle of minimal exposure: each client’s data is processed in controlled and isolated environments with strictly limited access. Whenever possible, we use our own models deployed on private infrastructure. When the best solution for a specific use case requires third-party AI services, we only work with providers that meet security standards equivalent to ours and operate under active data processing agreements. This is always communicated explicitly and agreed with the client before the project begins.
By default, we operate on our own private cloud infrastructure within the EU, allowing us to guarantee the levels of security, availability and regulatory compliance our clients require without transferring the management burden to them. For organizations located outside the EU, we agree with the client on the specific location of the private cloud infrastructure.
We address that from the project design stage. In those cases, we work in an on-premise model: deploying the entire solution within your own infrastructure, with no dependency on external services. This is an option we activate at the client’s request and have already implemented in organizations with very strict perimeter security requirements.
Fundamentia holds ISO 27001 Information Security certification and has been awarded the European Union Seal of Excellence, granted to high-impact innovative technology projects. In addition, our solutions are designed to comply with GDPR, LOPDGDD, HIPAA, CCPA and other applicable regulations depending on sector and geography.
Every system decision is logged and auditable. Traceability is not an add-on: it is part of the design from day one, especially in regulated sectors such as banking, insurance and healthcare. We can adapt it to the specific requirements of internal auditors or external regulators.

06
RESULTS AND GUARANTEES
Our clients achieve operational cost reductions of more than 70% in automated processes, with processing times reduced from days to minutes. ROI varies depending on the process volume, complexity and current operating cost, but in every case we calculate it together before the project starts so you have clarity before committing.
In an initial conversation, with no cost or commitment, we carry out a preliminary assessment of the process with you: technical feasibility, estimated impact and solution approach. If there is no fit, we will tell you. If there is, we will show you how we would approach it.
Accuracy rates are defined as specific KPIs for each use case during the implementation phase. As a reference, our data extraction engine exceeds 97% accuracy and our anonymization engine reaches 99% accuracy in Spanish and English legal and contractual documents. Our continuous maintenance cycle ensures those levels are sustained over time.
Quality KPIs are defined before moving into production. Our continuous maintenance cycle, combining automated monitoring with expert human review, is specifically designed to ensure those KPIs are maintained. If deviations occur, the responsibility for correction is ours.

OUR SOLUTIONS: SIMPLŸDATA AND PRIVACŸSHIELD
Fundamentia’s solutions are not an end in themselves; they are the engines that make the automation of complex processes possible. Each is specialized in a critical layer of the process: extracting and interpreting information, and controlling what is shared and with whom.
SimplÿData is Fundamentia’s document extraction and interpretation engine. It processes documents of any kind (contracts, case files, forms, reports and invoices) and extracts, classifies and structures relevant information with accuracy above 97%. It is specialized by sector and language, which differentiates it from generic OCR or extraction engines: it does not simply read documents, it understands their logic and context.
In virtually every document-driven automation project. Whenever a process involves reading, interpreting and acting on information contained in documents (mortgages, claims, contracts, clinical records or admission applications), SimplÿData is the component that transforms that information into structured data the process can operate on.
PrivacÿShield is Fundamentia’s anonymization and sensitive information control engine. It automatically detects, masks or removes personal and confidential data in documents (names, ID numbers, health data, financial information and third-party data) with 99% accuracy in Spanish and English legal and contractual documents. It is designed for regulated environments where improper handling of sensitive information carries direct legal and reputational consequences.
For any organization handling significant volumes of documentation containing personal or confidential information: law firms, financial institutions, insurers, hospitals, educational institutions and companies that outsource document-based processes or need to share documentation securely with third parties while complying with GDPR or other data privacy regulations.
Yes. PrivacÿShield is available as a self-service solution directly through this website. You can upload your documents, select the anonymization type and receive the result immediately, with no technical integration or contractual commitment required. It is the fastest way to start protecting sensitive information in your organization.
They are the technological components that power our automation projects. In a complex process, SimplÿData reads and interprets the documentation, while PrivacÿShield ensures sensitive information is controlled at every step of the workflow. They are not standalone products operated independently by the client: they are the technology layers on which Fundamentia builds the end-to-end automation of your process. The exception is self-service PrivacÿShield, designed for specific use cases that do not require full process automation.
Yes. Both solutions expose REST APIs that allow integration with proprietary systems. For technical integration projects, our team supports the entire process. If what you need is to start anonymizing documents today without integration, self-service PrivacÿShield is available directly through the website.
Self-service PrivacÿShield: upload your documents, choose the anonymization type and receive the result immediately — no technical integration, no contract, directly from this website.
